Mizuho Lin
Jennifer Karoline Lin, also known as Mizuho Lin, is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, and musician. She is recognized as the current lead vocalist of the Melodic Death Metal band Semblant. Mizuho was born in Brazil in and has a heritage that is half Taiwanese and half Brazilian-Polish. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Opera singing.
Career Path
At the age of 7, Mizuho Lin had her first encounter with music when she sang in a children's choir in her hometown of Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná. Her admiration for classical singing began at the age of 11 when she started listening to heavy metal bands. Later, at the age of 15, she also learned to play the guitar and piano. When she was old enough, Mizuho moved to Curitiba, the capital of the state of Paraná, where she took opera singing lessons and subsequently attended music school.

Musical career[edit]
Daughter of Taiwanese and Polish descendants [1][2], Lin had her first contact with music at the age of seven, when she began singing in a children's choir in her hometown of Foz do Iguaçu , Paraná , where she lived until she was years old.[3] During this same period, she began taking her first classical piano lessons, which only lasted three months, when her teacher had moved to another country. Then she took a break from theoretical studies and began to learn to play the keyboard on her own.[3]
Her admiration for classical singing began at the age of 11, when he began to listen to heavy metal bands.[3] And later, at age 15, she also began to study guitar. She became interested in singing while attending seventh grade, and her parents enrolled her at a school for the performing arts at which she practiced singing, dancing and acting.
Mizuho was a very active teenager, as she spent most of her free time outdoors playing sports with friends, such as soccer and tennis, and they also sang songs and wrote lyrics together. Upon matriculation in , she took two years off before enrolling at a college from which she graduated in with a Bachelor’s degree in opera singing.
