My therapy involves developing a strong interpersonal relationship with each client.I am a skilled practitioner with extensive experience in treating addictions like alcohol and elicit or prescription drugs. The treatment extends beyond the person struggling with addiction to the wider family left vulnerable to the turmoil, trauma and domestic violence that often results from addictions. I also focus on working with people and couples who have experienced childhood/ recent trauma or distressing events which impacts their everyday life and relationships negatively. I have educational, vocational, and personal experience in the areas that I target.  I use evidence-based treatment for the therapy of a vast range of mental health presentations. As a sincere and attentive therapist, I spend time researching innovative solutions to mental health care and I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and a piercing insight into the emotional and physiological dimensions of wellness.

Today we&#;d like to introduce you to Laura Barnes.

Laura, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I studied fine arts in college at The University of West Georgia and I received my BFA in photography. I was unsure how I wanted to use my degree, however, during my last semester in college two of my close friends were planning their weddings. Watching them go through the planning process was my light-bulb moment!

From there I knew being a wedding photographer (and small business owner!) was the path I wanted to take. I officially started my business in May , and the years have flown by! I feel blessed to truly have my dream job!

I specialize in wedding photography, but I also love growing with my wedding clients by photographing other life memories for them such as anniversaries, maternity and newborn sessions.
