THE LIGHT OF STILL BURNS BRIGHT IN THOSE SEEKING FREEDOM FROM POLITICAL OPPRESSION
Liberty First Legal (LFL) was birthed in the midst of the COVID crisis as church-targeting and persecution spread under the guise of “safety measures,” and due process of business owners and private citizens were trampled by extra-constitutional orders. LFL’s mandate is to protect religious and constitutional freedoms.
To accomplish this mission LFL will engage in legal and constitutional issues through education and litigation that includes representing clients at every court level throughout the United States and at international tribunals around the globe.
LFL Chief Counsel KrisAnne Hall is an accomplished constitutional attorney and scholar with a zeal for defending liberty. She served for nearly a decade as a criminal prosecutor before entering the constitutional law realm where she defended religious liberty and first amendment rights with a prominent non-profit law firm. Her work included advising schoolboards on prayer policies and religious protection for teachers and students, defending students’ ability to participate in religious organizations, including Bible clubs, on campus; P
Florida D.A. Fired for Talking About Constitution Settles Case
A former Florida assistant state attorney who lost her job over teaching about the Founding Fathers and the Constitution settled her case for an undisclosed amount Thursday against the Florida state attorney who fired her.
KrisAnne Hall was fired last year after participating in a number of political speaking engagements, including at tea party rallies and on talk radio, in which she discussed her originalist views of the Constitution. Her boss, State Attorney Robert "Skip" Jarvis, said he received a complaint about her activities and gave what Hall described as an "ultimatum," telling her to choose between her speaking engagements and her job.
"I told him I could not make that choice. I believe that my First Amendment right is my right and I would not stop speaking," Hall said in an interview with The Blaze.
Hall subsequently filed a federal lawsuit after her dismissal, alleging her rights had been violated and Jarvis had no standing to order her to stop speaking on her own time. Both parties agreed to settle the case Thursday.
Hall would not discuss details of the settl

Sheriff Chad Sheehan’s decision to invite KrisAnne Hall, a constitutional attorney from Florida, to train his deputies and speak to the public has provoked controversy in the western Iowa county.
On Friday, Hall led a training session for the sheriff’s staff, and she is scheduled to speak to the public on Saturday at Western Iowa Tech Community College. A group called We the People for Constitutional Sheriffs is sponsoring the free public event, which is hosted by the sheriff.
Sheehan has said no taxpayer dollars are involved in the training or the public event, although it’s not clear whether the county is paying the regular working-hour wages for deputies and others who attend the training session.
According to Sheehan, Hall was the keynote speaker and trainer at last year’s Iowa State Sheriffs and Deputies Association state conference, which he describes as an annual training session for law enforcement o
